Where Can I Use T-Core®?

T-Core® Interchangeable Core Thumbturns are compatible with BEST brand lock cylinders, also referred to as Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC) cylinders. Other manufacturers of SFIC cylinders include Arrow, Falcon, GMS, KSP, Medeco, Sargent and Schlage.

 

T-Core® Interchangeable Core Thumbturns can be installed into any chamber that will accept a keyed, 6 or 7 pin (SFIC).  In other words, T-Core® Interchangeable Core Thumbturns can “go” anywhere a keyed core can.

T-Core® has a spring loaded locator ball to indicate when the handle is oriented upward.  When a
T-Core® Interchangeable Core Thumbturn is installed into a mortise cylinder housing, the assembly operates just like a conventional mortise cylinder thumbturn with the advantage of being easily converted to key operation in seconds!

Naturally, we recommend using T-Core® Interchangeable Core Thumbturns instead of conventional mortise cylinder thumbturns to our customers who service Small Format Interchangeable Core key systems.
